Pyramid - as you browse our site you'll see a close tie to the theories explored by Abraham Maslow relating to the hierarchy of needs. We feel that this theory can be easily applied to the business world and it helps sort out the priorities that face us today.

Peak - we give only our best effort and it comes out in the quality of or products. We only hire the BEST and provide an environment where they can excel. We're based in Colorado, so of course we had to have something mountain oriented in our name - Does Pyramid Prairie Design sound interesting - NOT!

Design - unlike many companies who try and crank out as much as they can with as little thought as possible, we make the effort to think through how things need to work and thoroughly design them. It may take us a little longer but the end result is something that will last.

What's our background?
Our team has an extensive background in computer graphics and system software development. Starting all the way back with Apples and Commodores we've seen and done most everything graphics related. More recently we've been active in standards efforts related to 3D and embedded systems, participated in OpenGL ARB initiatives, and help define graphics and video APIs for emerging RTOS platforms. We've also developed a line of products for the Pocket PC platform.
